Who can use it

You must be at least 18 and allowed to use crypto services where you live. Don't use Got Spotted if it's illegal for you to do so.

Coins are not investments

Coins made here are memecoins. They have no intrinsic value, no issuer backing them and no promise of any return. Most go to zero. Nothing on Got Spotted is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and nobody at Got Spotted will tell you what to buy.

Only trade what you can afford to lose. Trades run on public smart contracts (Meteora) and are final: Got Spotted can't reverse, refund or cancel them.

Fees and earnings

Every trade pays a 2% fee, split roughly like this:

• 0.6% to the owner (the X account tagged on the coin)
• 0.3% to the snapper who made it
• about 0.1% to that week's spotter pool
• about 0.6% to Got Spotted, which also pays invite rewards
• 0.4% to Meteora, which runs the trading contracts

Earnings are held for 3 days before they can be withdrawn. Money for an owner who hasn't claimed it with X within about 60 days goes to Got Spotted. Spotter pools are paid weekly, only to people signed in with an X account at least 30 days old, and may be capped per person. We may withhold or reverse earnings that came from fake locations, fake accounts, trading with yourself or any other abuse.

Your wallet

You connect your own wallet and approve every trade yourself; we never hold your wallet's keys. Earnings wait in Got Spotted's payout wallet until you withdraw them to your own wallet. You're responsible for your wallet, your keys and the network fees of your transactions.

What you can post

Only post photos you took or have the right to use. Photos are checked before a coin is made. Don't post:

• nudity or sexual content, or anything involving children as the subject
• gore, injury, cruelty or violence
• hate symbols, slurs or harassment, or coins made to mock or target a person
• people somewhere private or photographed without knowing in an intrusive way
• ID cards, bank cards, documents, screens or addresses that show private details
• illegal activity, or anything that infringes someone else's rights

A coin's photo, name and description are published on-chain and on IPFS. We can remove a coin from Got Spotted at any time, but the token itself lives on Solana and can't be deleted.

If you got spotted

Tagging an X account on a coin doesn't mean that person made, endorses or is responsible for it. If a coin shows you, your pet, your home or your property and you want it taken down, use the Report button on the coin or message @GotSpottedFun on X. We remove it from the site, unpin its photo and description, and the money set aside for you stays yours to claim.

Check-ins and the real world

Check-ins use your phone's location. Stay safe and follow the law: don't trespass, don't check in while driving and respect the people and places you visit. Faking your location breaks these terms.

The service

Got Spotted is new and provided as is, without warranties. It may change, pause features or stop. To the fullest extent the law allows, Got Spotted isn't liable for trading losses, the value of any coin, network or contract failures, or indirect losses. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. We'll update this page when the terms change; using the site after that means you accept the new version.
